When I saw I'm growing up... by =kapie1571993 it really struck home for me. Not only is the picture beautiful and wonderfully executed but the message and feeling resonates with me. The pained expression on the boy's face is absolutely PERFECT for this piece. It just screams to me that he doesn't want to grow up and it pains him to do so. The way that he is clinging to the pillow and all the stuffed critters around him aide a ton in this feeling. Don't worry little boy, you only have to get older, no one says that you have to "grow up" :)

I thoroughly enjoyed this as I love the sepia art style which is rarely used although just as powerful as black and white, added with the little splash of color it is highly pleasing to the eyes and gives a sense of soul. When I look at the picture along with the title my thought drift to my childhood and make me think if I ever grew up, as I am still surrounded by my childhood things. The main part of this picture that I like is it makes you feel that you never truly grow up although you are grown, you still enjoy the things from your childhood and are surrounded by the things you loved from that time. The art is unique and wonderful and excellently done in this picture.
